Spring sports in the Memphis area saw some impressive performances in Week 4 of the 2024 season. In baseball, CBHS defeated Houston 11-1, with Riley Goodman as the winning pitcher with eight strikeouts in three innings. In softball, Brighton defeated Collierville 12-0, with Aliya Garcia going 3-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs scored. Houston took down Bartlett 11-10, with Maddie McClure going 3-for-4 with three RBIs and two runs scored. Maci Frederick was 2-for-3 with two RBIs and three runs scored, while Ella McKnight had two hits and two runs scored. St. Benedict beat Munford 2-0, with Jorja Wheeler pitching a complete game, allowing three hits and striking out 11. Izzy Henderson and Charlee Smith had two hits each. On Monday, Briarcrest defeated Munford 6-0 in boys soccer, with Chandler Cross and Coleman Loving scoring two goals each, and Andrew Painter contributing a goal and an assist.

In girls lacrosse, ECS beat St. George’s 10-8, with Sarah Grace Clinton scoring six goals and Rachel Cochran scoring three goals.
