On Monday, a report of a suspicious package was made at the 8600 block of Congdonhill Drive in Lower Macungie Township. According to Pennsylvania State Police Trooper Nathan Branosky, the suspicious package was seen at 1:30 p.m. The Ryder Logistics warehouse where the package was reported has been evacuated as a precaution.

Local roads, including Route 100 at Spring Creek Road, were closed by Branosky as a precaution. The Allentown Bomb Squad was called to Congdon Hill Drive to assist in the investigation by state police shortly before 2 p.m., according to Capt. John Christopher of the Allentown Fire Department.
