Cast Your Vote for Varsity 845’s Poll: Olympic Sports Player of the Week for March 18-24

Online voting for the Varsity 845 Spring Olympic sports player of the week for March 18-24 is currently open. You can visit RecordOnline.com/sports to vote as many times as you’d like until 10 p.m. on Saturday. Due to the limited number of contests last week, multiple candidates are being considered, and players from Orange, Ulster, and Sullivan counties, as well as Delaware Valley (Pa.), are eligible for nominations.

Candidates for Varsity 845 Spring Olympic sports player of the week include Lillian Atria from Pine Bush, who scored six goals in a match against New Paltz. Ava Kraszewski from Delaware Valley, who scored four goals in a match against Nazareth Area, and Jaida Palacios from DVPA, who made nine stops in the same match. Lorena Rivera from Valley Central, who scored five goals in a match against Highland, and Madison Roszkowski from Valley Central, who made eight saves in a match against Highland, are also candidates.

Usually, only one player per school is allowed to be nominated each week, but due to the limited number of contests last week, multiple candidates are being considered. The winner will be announced via Twitter @Varsity845. Previous winners can be nominated again once the postseason begins.
